With the win, Iowa City upgrades its record to 14-14 on the year. The Little Hawks travel to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-8. East Dubuque won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Stockton (Stockton, IL)

The Blue Devils now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a Mississippi bout on Tuesday, September 26. Davenport Central will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 19-4.
