The Southeast Polk Rams topped the host Des Moines East Scarlets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pella for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Southeast Polk will confront a Dutch team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 12-7.
The Scarlets (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Carlisle gained a win over Boone (Boone, IA), 3-1, in a league test.
