The Dinuba Emperors held off the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Emperors now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Pacific for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Dinuba will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hanford (Hanford, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-10.
The Pioneers (5-15) will now prepare for their test against El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Miners enter the East Yosemite test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, El Diamante held off Delano (Delano, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
