The Duluth East Greyhounds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Princeton Tigers to 1 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Greyhounds now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calumet for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Duluth East will meet a Copper Kings team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI). The Copper Kings record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Wildcats enter the Mississippi 8 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Chisago Lakes Area nipped Nicollet (Nicollet, MN), 2-0, in a non-league game.
