In Saturday's non-league contest, the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) volleyball squad were winner over the host Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Falcons face the Frankenmuth Eagles (Frankenmuth, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East contest, on Wednesday, September 27. Freeland will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 19-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI).

With the loss, Pinckney moves to 10-16 on the year. The Pirates travel to Stevenson (Livonia, MI) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Sunday, September 24. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 20-7. Stevenson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Coldwater (Coldwater, MI)
