Nebraska High School Volleyball - Sutherland tips Hitchcock County

September 23, 2023: Sutherland, NE 69165

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE) and the visiting Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE), saw Sutherland's volleyball squad nip Hitchcock County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sutherland upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Sailors travel to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 7-8. St. Patrick's lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE)

The Falcons now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chase County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Hitchcock County will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-11.
