In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Nova Classical Academy Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Jackson County Central Huskies.

The Knights (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Albany (Albany, MN). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 16-1 record. In their last battle, Albany nudged Waterville-Elysian-Morristown/Cannon Valley Lutheran (Waterville, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Jackson County Central will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Beacons come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chatfield (Chatfield, MN).
