In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Nevada Cubs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lincoln Railsplitters.
The Cubs (16-10) will now prepare for their battle against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Van Meter went down by Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Railsplitters encounter the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 10-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA).
