The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines topped the host Mounds Park Academy Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staples-Motley for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. Wadena-Deer Creek will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-6.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Bombers enter the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Cannon Falls was knocked off by Rush City (Rush City, MN), 2-1, in a non-league test.
