The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) and the visiting Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), saw Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's volleyball squad beat Parker by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Howard (Howard, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Howard lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD)

The Pheasants now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ethan for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Parker will play a Rustlers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD). The Rustlers record now stands at 10-6.
