In Saturday's non-league battle, the host St. John Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Opelousas Tigers.
The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Walker (Walker, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Walker achieved victory over Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 25. Opelousas will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Westgate (New Iberia, LA).
