In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Pulaski County Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Whitley County Colonels.
The Maroons (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, McCreary Central lost by Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Colonels clash with the Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Whitley County will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 12-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY).
