Ohio High School Volleyball - South Point can't hold off Southern

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Southern Tornadoes volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the South Point Pointers.
The Tornadoes (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Golden Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Wellston was edged by Alexander (Albany, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Pointers clash with the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) in a Ohio Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 26. South Point will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 11-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, OH).
