Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) and the host Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), saw Edgewood's soccer squad knock off Bloomfield by a count of 4-1.
The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Bloomington North tipped Southport (Indianapolis, IN), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 3. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
