Fans at Monday's league battle between the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) and the visiting Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), saw Lake City's soccer squad hold off Plainview-Elgin-Millville by a count of 5-4.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets enter the Class A Section 1 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Kasson-Mantorville was edged by Byron (Byron, MN), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Byron (Byron, MN).
