Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) and the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), saw York Institute's soccer squad knock off Sequoyah by a count of 2-0.

The Dragons (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Owls enter the A District 5 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Smith County tipped Cannon County (Woodbury, TN), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Chiefs battle the Maryville Christian Eagles (Maryville, TN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Knoxville Ambassadors (Knoxville, TN).
