Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a District 48 test on Thursday, September 26. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 7-6. Wayne County won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)

The Cardinals now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Casey County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. South Laurel will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 5-0 league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 3-10.
