Cottondale Hornets (Cottondale, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cottondale improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Gadsden County (Havana, FL) to face the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 4-4. Gadsden County won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson County (Monticello, FL)

The Gators now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cottondale for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1.
