North Carolina High School Soccer - Marvin Ridge knocks off Ballantyne Ridge

In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks soccer squad scored a nice 10-1 victory over the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves.

The Mavericks (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates go into the Southern Carolina 4A outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Porter Ridge prevailed over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Wolves confront the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A outing, on Tuesday, September 24. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
