Illinois High School Soccer - Peoria Christian knocks off Bloomington Central Catholic

In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Peoria Christian Chargers soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints.
The Chargers (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Morton (Morton, IL). The Potters come into the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Morton was overwhelmed by Limestone (Bartonville, IL), 3-2, in a league match.
The Saints now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Monticello for a Illini Prairie match on Tuesday, September 24. Bloomington Central Catholic will meet a Sages team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Sages record now stands at 4-9.
