The Clarkston Angoras softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Stone Mountain Pirates to 14 in the Angoras non-league win on Monday.

The Angoras now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Springs for a 4A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, September 24. Clarkston will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Stone Mountain moves to 0-12 on the season. The Pirates host Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) to confront the Jaguars in a 3A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 0-10. Stephenson lost 1-0 in their recent league battle against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)
