The Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) softball nipped the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westside for a 2A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 24. Morgan County will encounter a Seminoles team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Walnut Grove moves to 7-13 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a 4A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 3-16. Cedar Shoals won 19-4 in their recent non-league outing against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
