In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Apollo Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Columbia Heights Hylanders.

The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm enter the Central Lakes challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Sauk Rapids-Rice beat Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hylanders meet the Brooklyn Center Centaurs (Brooklyn Center, MN) in a Tri-Metro challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Columbia Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Centaurs enter the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN).
