The Belle Plaine Plainsmen volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sigourney Savages to 2 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Monday.

The Plainsmen now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Keota for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. Belle Plaine will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to English Valleys (North English, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Sigourney drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Savages host Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 6-5. Prairie City-Monroe lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against H-L-V (Victor, IA)
