Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) and the visiting Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL), observed Peotone's volleyball team hold off Bishop McNamara by a count of 2-1.

The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the Illinois Central Eight contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Wilmington was tipped by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
