Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Buckhorn advances its record to 2-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cordia (Hazard, KY) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-2.
The Tigers now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oneida Baptist Institute for a District 49 test on Tuesday, September 24. Clay County will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-4.
