In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Red Wing Wingers.

The Komets (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats come into the Hiawatha Valley battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Goodhue dropped by Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wingers now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northfield for a Big 9 battle on Thursday, September 26. Red Wing will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 12-5.
