The Meridian Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pinconning Spartans to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a Jack Pine outing on Wednesday, September 25. Meridian will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Louis (St. Louis, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Pinconning drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Farwell (Farwell, MI) to play the Eagles in a Jack Pine outing on Wednesday, September 25.
