The Benet Academy Redwings got by the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats flag football team by a score of 29-28 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Redwings play the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Benet Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The RedHawks go into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 21-6 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars go into the challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield South nipped Horizon Science Academy-Southwest (Chicago, IL), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
