St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH), 12-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Joseph Central advances its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Irish host Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Lincoln County lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV)
The Panthers now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Fairland for a Ohio Valley bout on Thursday, September 25. Chesapeake will play a Dragons squad coming off a 1-1 league Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 5-3.
