The Midd-West Mustangs held off the host Loyalsock Township Lancers soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA game, on Thursday, September 25. Midd-West will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 8-0 league loss to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA).

The Lancers (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Milton (Milton, PA). The Black Panthers go into the PIAA District IV-AAA bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Milton got by Danville (Danville, PA), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
