With the triumph, Rock Island moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Rocks travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a test on Tuesday, September 30. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 9-1.

The Pioneers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Moline for a test on Tuesday, October 7.
