Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rio Rancho improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Rams host Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-2.
The Chargers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Albuquerque Academy will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 7-0.
