Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Storm (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record.

Next, the Matadors meet the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 25. Sandia will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
