In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Zimmerman Thunder soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Becker Bulldogs.

The Thunder (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm go into the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Sauk Rapids-Rice was edged by Alexandria (Alexandria, MN), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willmar for a Class A Section 6 test on Saturday, September 27. Becker will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-3.
