The St. James Academy Thunder soccer squad (Lenexa, KS), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS)
The Timberwolves (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Park Hill South (Riverside, MO). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Park Hill South was tipped by Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO), 2-0, in a non-league match.
The Thunder now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. St. James Academy will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
