Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) and the visiting Freeman Academy Bobcats (Freeman, SD), saw Southwest Minnesota Christian's soccer squad hold off Freeman Academy by a score of 2-1.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals come into the Class A Section 2 test with a 1-9 record.

The Bobcats now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vermillion for a test on Thursday, October 2. Freeman Academy will clash with a Tanagers team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Tanagers record now stands at 6-2.
