With the triumph, Point Pleasant advances its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Big Blacks host Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Indians come into the test with a record of 7-6.

Next up, the Huskies play the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 27. Herbert Hoover will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV).
