The Tyler Knights soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Lincoln Cougars to 4 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Parkersburg Catholic for a Little Kanawha - West bout on Wednesday, September 24. Tyler will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 0-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Robert C. Byrd won 10-1 in their recent league game against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
