The Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles volleyball team (Bloomfield Hills, MI), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Cardinal Mooney Catholic Cardinals (Marine City, MI)

The Cardinals (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights enter the Catholic - Intersectional contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, University Liggett was knocked off by Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Gazelles encounter the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 29. Academy of the Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the battle with a 13-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Cabrini (Allen Park, MI).
