Illinois High School Volleyball - Sullivan over Arcola

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) and the visiting Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL), observed Sullivan's volleyball team top Arcola by a count of 2-0.

The Redskins (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Unity Christian (Decatur, IL). The Lions enter the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Unity Christian notched a victory over Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Purple Riders battle the Villa Grove Blue Devils (Villa Grove, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie contest, on Thursday, September 25. Arcola will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 3-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL).
