The East Newton Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Aurora Houn Dawgs to 1 in the Patriots non-league win on Tuesday.

Next up, the Patriots confront the McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 25. East Newton will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record.

The Houn Dawgs (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Girard (Girard, KS). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Girard gained a win over Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS), 2-1, in a non-league game.
