The Schurz Bulldogs edged the visiting Chicago Academy Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Alcott Wildcats (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Red North game, on Thursday, September 25. Schurz will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL).
The Cougars (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Senn (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Chicago Public Red North game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Senn nudged Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.
