In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cranberry Area Berries volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Oil City Oilers.
The Berries (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Karns City (Karns City, PA). The Gremlins go into the Keystone Shortway test with a 4-4 record.
The Oilers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer for a District 10 Region 3 test on Thursday, September 25. Oil City will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-1.
