The Fuquay - Varina Bengals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs to 0 in the Bengals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bengals now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a Greater Neuse River 7A outing on Thursday, September 25. Fuquay - Varina will play a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Garner (Garner, NC). The Rams record now stands at 13-2.

The Bulldogs (0-13) will now prepare for their game against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the Greater Neuse River 7A game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Clayton gained a win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
