Kansas High School Volleyball - St. Mary's-Colgan tips Galena

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers (Pittsburg, KS) and the host Galena Bulldogs (Galena, KS), observed St. Mary's-Colgan's volleyball team hold off Galena by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Baxter Springs (Baxter Springs, KS). The Lions enter the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Baxter Springs was tipped by Riverton (Riverton, KS), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Columbus Titans (Columbus, KS) in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee battle, on Thursday, October 2. Galena will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
