Ohio High School Volleyball - Villa Angela-St. Joseph overwhelmed by Independence

The Independence Blue Devils topped the host Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Cuyahoga Heights for a Chagrin Valley - Metro outing on Wednesday, September 24. Independence will play a Red Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Red Wolves record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Villa Angela-St. Joseph drops to 8-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to confront the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Thursday, September 25. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a record of 8-8. St. Vincent-St. Mary lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
