Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Richards Panthers (Richards, TX) and the host Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX), observed Richards's volleyball team top Leggett by a count of 3-0.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A Region IV District 26 contest with a 20-13 record. In their last contest, Chester achieved victory over Goodrich (Goodrich, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Pirates now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodrich for a 1A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, September 26. Leggett will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Chester (Chester, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-11.
