In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Squalicum Storm volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mount Vernon Bulldogs.

The Storm (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Anacortes was edged by Lakewood (Arlington, WA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, September 25. Mount Vernon will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
