Minnesota High School Volleyball - Springfield crushed by New Ulm Cathedral

In Tuesday's league match, the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Springfield Tigers (Springfield, MN), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a Tomahawk battle, on Thursday, September 25. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN).

The Tigers now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Mountain for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. Springfield will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-4.
